York Against Cancer | Fund-Racing Events

New for 2012

Throughout 2012 F1 Racing will be running 'open' Daytona Team events on the last Thursday of every month to help raise money for the charity - York Against Cancer .

'YAC' are a local charity who research, educate, fundraise and care for those who have been touched by cancer. For more information on the fantastic work they do visit their website on

The Event | Daytona 120

On the last Thursday of every month F1 Racing will host a Daytona 120 (2 hours) to start at 7pm.

Anyone may enter a team. Teams must consist of between 4 - 6 drivers, no more, no less!
NB: Min. Age: 16

Teams are responsible for performing their own 'driver changes'. Teams will be provided with a 'driver call-in' card to use on the night. Teams must ensure that all their drivers enter both the qualifying and race session. Time penalties will be issued if this rule is broken.

Entry Fee: £145.00 per team
F1 Racing will donate £35 from each team to YAC

Sponsorship

Although F1 Racing will donate £35 of each team's entry fee to YAC, you can raise additional funds too.

Download our Silver Circuit Sponsor Form and seek sponsorship from friends, family, colleagues etc. You can be sponsored for each completed team lap or a fixed total amount. Teams normally complete between 200-300 laps within a 2 hour team race.

Dates & Booking

All teams must be pre-booked. Bookings can be made over the phone with either a credit or debit card.
Full payment is required upon booking at which point a written confirmation will be sent.

AGE AND HEIGHT LIMITS APPLY Please note for all kart sessions drivers must be at least 10 years old and at least 1.45metres (4ft 9 inches) in height. Drivers under the age of 14 will not be allowed to race with adults unless part of a family group. Drivers aged 15 or under will not be allowed to participate in any session without the written consent of a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.
